Overview

Dr. (Col.) C.P. Roy VSM, a distinguished cardiologist, served as Head of the Department of Medical Education (Cardiology) and Senior Consultant in Cardiology. He was responsible for training DNB Cardiology and PGDCC (Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Cardiology) students. Dr. Roy completed his MBBS and MD (Medicine) from Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, and DM (Cardiology) from PGI, Chandigarh. With over 30 years of experience in various Army Hospitals, he also served as Professor of Cardiology at Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, where he was involved in DM Cardiology training. A postgraduate teacher and examiner for DM and DNB Cardiology, Dr. Roy was awarded the 'Vishisht Seva Medal' by the President of India for his exceptional contributions to cardiology. Before joining Max Healthcare, he worked for eight years as a Senior Consultant in Cardiology at Escorts Heart Institute & Research Centre, New Delhi, actively training DNB (Cardiology) students. Dr. Roy has an impressive academic record and numerous publications to his credit.
