The Clinical Professor and Chief Transplant Surgeon Dr. S. Sudhindran operates at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences in Faridabad within the Department of Gastrointestinal Surgery and Solid Organ Transplantation. Dr. S. Sudhindran holds the title of Kerala's inaugural liver transplant surgeon while specializing in liver transplant surgeries which include more than 820 successful live donor procedures. The full scope of his medical knowledge includes pancreas and small bowel transplantation procedures.

Dr. Sudhindran started his medical career by graduating from Trivandrum Medical College with MBBS and MS followed by specialized training at UK institutions for vascular surgery and solid organ transplantation. During his work after fellowships, he held a position as a Clinical Fellow in Transplantation at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge. His work includes more than a hundred published papers where he added valuable contributions to medical knowledge. Dr. Sudhindran received the “Distinguished Alumnus Award” from Trivandrum Medical College on February 15, 2020, to show his outstanding achievements in advancing society alongside his work at the institution.
